ABOUT FILICS

Filics’ mission is to reinvent intralogistics by creating autonomous mobile robots that fundamentally change how material moves. Our double-runner system makes Filics the first and only AMR able to drive through load carriers such as Euro pallets, breaking forklift logic and setting a new standard for efficiency. We are a small, focused team committed to solving hard problems with engineering excellence. All team members are expected to be hands-on and to contribute directly to the company’s mission. Leadership is given to those who show initiative and consistently deliver excellence. Work ethic and strong prioritization skills are important. All team members are expected to have strong communication skills. They should be able to concisely and accurately share knowledge with their teammates.

OPEN ROLES

Open Roles @Filics

EXCEPTIONAL WORK

As part of your application, you will answer the question “What exceptional work have you done?”. ****We ask this because a CV lists jobs, not impact. At Filics, we want to understand the work that truly shows who you are as an engineer, builder, or leader. Tell us about a moment where you took full ownership, solved a hard problem, and delivered something exceptional.

Keep it short and concrete. Describe the challenge, what you did, and the impact it had.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

Our interview process is designed to give both sides a clear picture of how you work — technically, practically, and in a team setting. Each stage focuses on different aspects of your skills and mindset, so we can understand how you think and operate, and you can get to know how we work at Filics.

Pre-Screening Call (30 min - remote)

An initial conversation to get to know you, your background, and your motivation. We will also give you an overview of Filics and the role.

Technical / Functional Challenges (up to 3 sessions, 60 min each - remote)

Depending on the nature of the role, you will take part in up to three in-depth sessions. These can include coding exercises, system design discussions, case studies, or practical problem-solving tasks. The goal is to understand how you approach complex requirements, make decisions, and structure your work.

Experience Day (approx. 4h – on-site in our Munich office)

You will spend time at our office and get to know the team. This usually includes a short talk or presentation, lunch with the team, a tour of our office and lab, seeing our robots in action, and a conversation with one of the founders. The focus is on giving you a real sense of our environment and culture, and for us to get to know you on a personal level.
